1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website (highcountrypowerco.com) or engaging High Country Power LLC (“High Country Power,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Services

High Country Power provides generator maintenance, repair, installation, diagnostics, and related services for residential and commercial systems.

  • Services are performed based on estimates, service agreements, or approved work orders

  • High Country Power services all makes and models unless otherwise stated

  • Scope of work is limited to what is explicitly approved

 

3. Estimates and Approvals

  • All estimates, changes in scope, and work authorizations require written approval

  • High Country Power will not proceed with work without documented approval except in emergency situations where delay would cause damage or safety risk

  • If emergency work is performed without prior written approval, the Customer agrees to pay for all reasonable and necessary services performed

  • Written approval includes email, SMS, signed documents, or electronic acceptance through High Country Power systems

  • Verbal approvals are not valid unless a prior written agreement between both parties permits verbal authorization

  • Any additional work identified during service requires separate written approval before proceeding

4. Payment Terms​

  • High Country Power accepts approved payment methods including electronic payments and checks

  • Payment terms are Net 15 unless otherwise agreed in writing. A 5-day grace period from the invoice due date will be allowed. Any balance not paid in full after the grace period may be assessed a one-time late fee of 10% of the outstanding balance, capped at $300. Late fees are intended to cover administrative and carrying costs associated with delinquent accounts and are not interest. High Country Power reserves the right to suspend work, withhold reports, or delay future service until all past due balances are brought current.

  • Customer is responsible for all applicable taxes

 

5. Scheduling and Access

  • Appointments are scheduled based on availability

  • Customer must provide safe and reasonable access to equipment

  • High Country Power reserves the right to reschedule due to:

    • Weather conditions

    • Safety concerns

    • Equipment accessibility issues

    • Unforeseen operational conflicts

 

6. Cancellations

  • Cancellations with insufficient notice may be subject to a trip charge

  • No-shows or denied access may be billed

 

7. Service Limitations

  • High Country Power is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or failures unrelated to performed work

  • Diagnostics are based on conditions present at time of service

  • Temporary or intermittent issues may not be fully resolved in a single visit

 

8. Warranty

  • Labor warranty (if provided) applies only to the specific work performed

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to parts where applicable

  • Warranty is void if:

    • Equipment is modified or serviced by others after High Country Power’s work

    • Improper use, neglect, or environmental conditions cause failure

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • High Country Power is not liable for:

    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

    • Loss of power, revenue, or business interruption

  • Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service

 

10. Trip Charges and Dispatch

  • Trip charges may apply based on distance and are non-refundable once a technician is dispatched

  • Minimum service charges may apply regardless of outcome

 

11. Parts and Materials

  • Special-order parts may require full or partial prepayment

  • Returns are subject to supplier policies and may include restocking fees

  • High Country Power is not responsible for delays caused by parts availability or shipping

 

12. Site Use

By using this website, you agree:

  • Not to misuse, hack, or interfere with site functionality

  • Not to submit false or misleading information

  • Content on this site is owned by High Country Power and may not be copied without permission

13. Intellectual Property

         All website content, including text, logos, branding, and original materials, is the property of High Country Power LLC and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

High Country Power may use trademarks, logos, images, and other media belonging to third-party manufacturers, including but not limited to Cummins, Kohler, and Briggs & Stratton, for identification, informational, and service-related purposes.

All such third-party intellectual property remains the property of its respective owners. Use of this material does not imply ownership, endorsement, or direct affiliation unless explicitly stated.

High Country Power is an independent service provider and is not an authorized agent of any manufacturer unless explicitly stated in writing.

 

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.

 

15. Changes to Terms

High Country Power reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of those changes.
